The permanent exhibition of the Museum is dedicated to the paintings and drawings of František Kupka, one of the pioneers of abstract art at the beginning of the 20th century, and the sculptures of the cubist sculptor Otto Gutfreund.
Museum Kampa also organizes many short-term exhibitions. Its program primarily focuses on Czech and Central European art from the 1960s to the 1980s, however some temporary exhibitions are also devoted to contemporary art, design and architecture or classical modern art.
Visitors can also appreciate the location of the museum, which is in the exceptional premises of the historical building of Sova's Mills situated in the very center of Prague next to the river. The views from the building’s tower and the terrace offer a breathtaking view of Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, the National Theater and other beautiful landmarks.
