At Celetná 15, just a few steps from Old Town Square, behind the doors of a historic building, a gallery awaits that draws visitors into an entirely different world. Visitors take the elevator up to two floors with a total area of 1,400 m², where 24 installations await them.
Digital projections, video mapping, and a kaleidoscopic cinema are complemented by analog installations such as a mirror maze and objects based on the interplay of light, movement, and optical illusions. Each installation creates a specific atmosphere. Some respond to the viewer’s movement or sound, while others invite visitors into spaces of contemplation, sound structures, or living light forms. Guests can walk across a simulated surface of Mars, dive into the depths of the ocean, fly through a galaxy, sweep aside digital sand, set luminous trees in motion, or observe a detailed holographic projection of the human eye up close.
The exhibition includes both interactive installations with a playful character and a floor dedicated to visual artworks with a deeper conceptual dimension. The gallery presents installations by Czech and international artists working in digital and audiovisual art. Featured artists include Ati Sphere, AV Collective FotonX, Igor Teichman, Julius Štefan, Michal Škorpík, Ondřej Ševčík, and Ondřej Čistín – each bringing a distinct approach and visual language, from abstract projections to sculptural installations combined with sound.
Lumia Gallery is open daily and suitable for individuals, couples, and families with children – especially for anyone seeking an extraordinary experience.
